Founded in 1895, the Atlanta Section of NCJW is a non-profit, volunteer organization that works through a program of research, education, advocacy, and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children, and families and strives to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all.

Through your generous donations we can continue to support programs such as the Atlanta Coalition for Literacy, Teen Dating Abuse Awareness, our Annual Interfaith Luncheon, State advocacy efforts, and much more. Ways to Donate Your Money

NCJW now accepts PayPal for donations and for program fees. Click on the button below and sign in to your account. Click the "send money" tab, enter the email address: ncjw@ncjwatlanta.org, the amount, and click the "services/other" button.

 

Specific Section Programs

Section General Funds provide monies that help our Section run on a day-to-day basis and to support our general advocacy, community service, and membership programming.

Atlanta Jewish Coalition for Literacy brings tutors together one-on-one with students to assist them in learning to be better readers.

Yad B' Yad raises funds to provide grants for literacy and for projects that benefit at risk women, children and families in Israel.

Program Support helps the National Organization in its advocacy efforts, championing the needs of women, children, and families while taking a progressive stance on issues like child welfare, women's rights, and reproductive freedom.

Tribute Funds

We offer a variety of dedicated and general funds that support the Section's work here in Atlanta. These are lovely ways to express your sympathy, honor family and friends, and commemorate special occasions.

Ways to Donate Your Time

Volunteer, Volunteer, Volunteer! What more can we say. We are a volunteer organization, fueled by the power of our volunteers! There is so much you can do!

• tutor in our Literacy program
• help with the Spring or Fall Bargainata
• lend a hand with the planning and preparations of the Annual Interfaith Luncheon
• play Bingo at the Bremen Home
• help us with the Teen Dating Awareness Program
• work the halls of the state Capitol as part of our Advocacy program
• help out in the office, we can always use some envelope stuffers and all-around good helpers!

Ways to Donate Your In-kind Goods

Donate to Bargainata

Each Spring and Fall we accept donations to Bargainata, our community-wide sale of only the best clothing and accessories! We accept men's and women's gently-worn designer or better clothing and accessories and small household goods. Watch the web site for information about collection dates and times.

Donate to the NCJW Office

Are you or your business overstocked with printer paper? Considering replacing computers or other office equipment? Do you have pens or pencils to spare? Before you take your goods to another organization, call NCJW and see if we can make use of your generosity.
